Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in the heart of Plano, TX, Zenna Thai & Japanese Restaurant offers an authentic fusion of vibrant Thai and delicate Japanese flavors that promises to delight the palate with every visit. This welcoming spot at 2500 N Central Expy is a sanctuary for food lovers seeking a harmonious blend of rich spices and fresh ingredients expertly woven into each dish.

The menu is a treasure trove of culinary delights, perfect for adventurous diners. Start with the Cold Tapas like the Imperial Rolls—crispy shrimp wrapped in translucent rice paper with fresh lettuce, cilantro, and carrots, served alongside a luscious sweet peanut sauce that perfectly balances crunch with smooth nuttiness. The House Salad bursts with colorful vegetables, dressed in a homemade peanut dressing that adds a tantalizing tang. For a heartier appetizer, the Beef Salad combines grilled steak with fresh tomatoes, crisp cucumber, and a zesty lime dressing that leaves a memorable spicy kick.

Hot Tapas selections at Zenna are equally tempting. The Edamame arrives steamed and lightly salted, a simple yet deeply satisfying prelude. The Crispy Spring Roll offers a delightful crunch with a sweet and sour dipping sauce, while the Tulip Dumplings boast a savory blend of pork, carrots, water chestnuts, shiitake mushrooms, and cilantro, dripping with umami from the mushroom soy sauce. For those craving protein, the Chicken Satay is grilled to perfection, marinated in aromatic Thai spices, and paired with refreshing cucumbers and creamy peanut sauce—a dish that truly transports you to the streets of Bangkok.

Beverages, such as the iconic Thai Tea, served cold and sweet with condensed milk, offer a rich, aromatic finish to the meal. Complement your experience with refreshing options like classic Coke, Diet Coke, or a lemony Sprite to cleanse the palate between bites.

Diners consistently praise Zenna for its exceptional service and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re enjoying a casual dinner or a late-night craving thanks to their extended weekend hours, the staff’s warmth and attentiveness elevate every visit. According to regulars like Tony Young, the Thai menu is a standout, often described as "comfort Dallas Thai" cuisine that stays true to its roots while satisfying local tastes. Others, like Sharday Clay, rave about the fiery red curry and unforgettable sesame chicken, which is described as the best ever—each bite bursting with savory, perfectly balanced flavors.

Zenna’s sushi also earns respect as a reasonably priced, satisfying option, with fresh selections like the yellowtail sushi roll and steamed gyoza frequently recommended by customers such as Michelle Palmer. The pork ribs, noted for their deeply infused flavors and tender texture, have become a favorite alongside their fried rice, cooked flawlessly every time.

The atmosphere at Zenna Thai & Japanese Restaurant is relaxed yet inviting, making it a perfect stop for a casual night out, an intimate dinner, or a lively evening with friends. The combination of authentic dishes, generous portions, and genuine hospitality creates an experience that goes far beyond a simple meal—it’s a flavorful journey that keeps patrons returning time and time again.

For those in Plano craving a harmonious blend of Thai spice and Japanese finesse, Zenna stands out as a culinary gem. Whether you're here for sushi, spicy curries, or comforting tapas, the restaurant promises a satisfying and heartfelt dining adventure.

It's one of my favorite Asian fusion restaurants. They have good variety. The sushi isn't bad for the price. My favorite is the Thai menu (you have to askstafffor it). I believe this is one of their strong point of interest. And its great to have late hours on the weekend. The service is always excellent, and the food is always consistent.

I always pass this spot or hear my friends saying how great it it. We decided to try it last night and I’m so glad We did, the food was amazing and the service was even better. Daniel at the bar took good care of us. We got the combination red curry with no shrimp, it was fire!! The sesame chicken was the best I have ever had and the fried rice was cooked perfectly. Pork ribs were bomb, so flavorful and tender. The spring rolls were delicious! The margaritas had us tipsy and the Fried Banana Dessert is a MUST!!!!! Will definitely come back here. Loved it!

Whether you're dining in, taking out, or ordering delivery, Zenna never disappoints. When they're busy the service isn't great but it doesn't stop me from coming back. The food is "comfort Dallas Thai" and we all seem to love it. Open late, happy hour, and bomb thai tea.

My husband and I found this place while looking for something close to our hotel. It was a quick drive, and we arrived at a good time as it was not busy. We were seated immediately, and our server was quick with menus and took our order within 5 minutes of sitting down. My husband got the yellow tail sushi roll and a side of steamed Gyoza. Bothe were very good. I ordered the Thai noodles with chicken and #3 spice level. It was a huge portion with lots of flavor. The heat level was a little low for my liking, but I never know how they actually measure their spiciness. I would probably get a 5 next time, but all of it was delicious.

A friend of mine was having his birthday dinner here and invited my wife and I. He has been telling me about this restaurant, and we've been excited to try it out. For starters, we had the Steamed Tulip Dumplings, Yakitori Chicken, and the Crab Rangoon Dip. My favorite was the Yakitori Chicken, but they were all very good. We also had the Tom-Kha Soup, and it was flavorful and amazing. We will definitely be getting it again. Next, we had the Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice. I was kinda skeptical about it, but after I tried it, I was sorry that I didn't try it sooner. Pineapple goes great in fried rice. For dessert, we had the Fried Bananas and the Sweet Black Sticky Rice. The fried bananas were good, but everyone loved the sweet black sticky rice. The whole meal was great and the service was amazing, they were short staffed and our waitress Dolly was the only one there working all the tables and she did an amazing job. We will definitely be coming back.

The restaurant was really loud, music and conversation, and seemed to attract more of a bar crowd than a restaurant crowd. I ordered to go. The food was delicious as always. Fresh made and well made. So good! Service was attentive, but the food was about 10 minutes late per the SMS updates I received.

What nice little surprise this place was! Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good, no doubt. We ordered Spicy Thai basil fried rice, miso soup, chicken broccoli with passion fruit margarita & coconut water. While the soup and the food were very good but Imy friend didn’t like the drink and coconut water that much. The server and the ambience are good, family friendly. Will try again in future. They are open till 3AM so this place has always been my togo place when it’s late for dinner.
